Building a Low-Emission Future: AFV Beltrame Group’s Commitment to Decarbonising Transportation and Logistics

The transition to a low-emission future also passes through hashtag#transportation. At AFV Beltrame Group, we have made measuring and reducing hashtag#Scope3 emissions a strategic priority, aware that only through reliable data and collaboration can we build real change.

Thanks to our database, we accurately maps transported volumes, transportation modes, and mileage for each route. Working on data quality means being able to make informed decisions and precisely identify areas for improvement throughout the entire logistics chain.

But data alone is not enough. Our strategy develops on two fronts: on one hand, we actively collaborate with carriers to promote low-emission solutions, from intermodal transport to alternative fuels. On the other, we offer our customers maximum transparency by providing precise data on CO₂ emissions generated for each delivery. Indeed, more and more customers are asking us for transparency on emissions related to goods delivery, and today we can provide this information, also supporting their sustainability journeys. A clear signal of how the market is evolving.

The results are tangible: today, more than 30% of our transport uses non-road or mixed modes, including rail, intermodal, sea, and river transport.

The hashtag#decarbonization of logistics is not a distant goal, but a path we are building day by day together with our partners.
