Stahl Gerlafingen’s contribution to Recycling Switzerland Council

Stahl Gerlafingen, represented by CEO Alain Creteur, had the privilege of presenting at the Recycling Schweiz (ehemals VSMR) Board meeting and contributing the industry’s viewpoint to the discussion.

The open dialogue with Christian Imark President Recycling Switzerland, Blesi Roger, Vice President Recycling Switzerland and Pouyan Dardashti Vice President Recycling Switzerland demonstrated what industry and recycling organizations can achieve together.

We exchanged views on current challenges and highlighted the importance of close collaboration across the value chain to accelerate the transition toward a low-CO₂ future.

We also discussed the profound transformation taking place in Europe, including the introduction of CBAM and its implications for industry. A sustainable future is a shared responsibility and by working together, we can make it happen.
