Carlo Beltrame’s interesting speech on the current energy crisis

“I think things are starting to change a bit, in terms of the willingness of suppliers and producers to sign contracts longer than a month” declared Carlo Beltrame in the interesting interview with Adi Mosoianu from Profit.ro and Elena Deacu from Economedia.ro focused on the #electricity issue, but also about Donalam’s plans and investments in #Romania.

“I have noticed this in the last 2 weeks after the new #energy legislation came into force. The principle of forcing energy producers to sell directly to large industrial consumers and to suppliers with final consumers in their portfolio is correct. Every country in Europe, including Romania, has taken different measures to protect the industry. But the new legislation has not yet shown its effectiveness, the problem has not yet been solved.

That is why at #Donalam #Targoviste we have advanced the steps for the #photovoltaicpark project. The ground-mounted park will have an installed capacity of 60-65 MW. We will also install 10 MW photovoltaic panels on the roofs of buildings in Targoviste, so that by mid next year, October 2023 at the latest, we will have a total power generation capacity of 70-75 MW”.
