Today, the safety takes centre stage in Vicenza!
We are hosting the third and final stage of the Metallurgia Sicura (Safe Metallurgy) training cycle, an initiative organised by the Italian Metallurgy Association, which has already attracted considerable interest in previous sessions in Lecco and Pozzuolo del Friuli.
The travelling safety day will be dedicated to a topic that is very relevant to the metallurgical industry: contractors.
This topic will be addressed both in terms of the complexity of managing foreign contractors operating in our Italian facilities and with practical examples of managing complex construction sites.
This edition will focus on the legal aspects, with the participation of criminal lawyers specialising in this area, and will conclude with presentations on technological innovation and AI applied to management software for contractors and suppliers in general.
The days at the Lecco and Pozzuolo del Friuli sites saw the discussion of significant accident events for our production facilities and the new machinery regulations linked to the forthcoming introduction of cyber security.
All this was enriched by opportunities for direct discussion and visits to the plants, to see at first hand how theory translates into practice.
Initiatives such as this focus on people and the culture of prevention, offering a space for dialogue and professional growth for those who work every day to make our production environments safer.
The seminar is valid as a five-year refresher course in accordance with Legislative Decree 81/08 and the State-Regions Agreement of 17 April 2025.
Thanks to AIM for organising the event and to all the partner companies that made it possible.
