Biodiversity event: partnership with ekodev, the National Museum of Natural History and Opie
As part of our partnership with
ekodev, we were delighted to welcome Ms Mélissa Bergin on 1 April for another event focusing on biodiversity.
Since two beehives were installed at our steelworks in 2021, these events have become a real highlight for our staff: the distribution of the harvested honey, educational discussions and raising awareness of environmental issues.
This year, the theme focused on discovering pollinating insects and the SPIPOLL tool, developed by the
National Museum of Natural History and
OPIE (Office for Insects and their Environment), which enables the monitoring of changes in the diversity of pollination networks through photography.
An ever-more bountiful harvest, a friendly and informative occasion, and a wonderful way to reinforce our commitment to biodiversity.
