Annual observatory: constructive dialogue and strategies for sustainable development

The annual meeting between Group management and trade union representatives took place in recent days, marked by dialogue and collaboration. The traditional event provided an opportunity for open and constructive discussion, characterised by a spirit of collaboration and maximum transparency in the sharing of strategic information.

During the session, the results and performance of the previous financial year were analysed in detail, with particular attention to growth and sustainability indicators and welfare activities. Management also presented the consolidated figures for the first half of 2025, highlighting trends and development prospects, and illustrated the new 2025–2029 Business Plan, which provides for targeted investments coordinated with a decarbonisation strategy fully aligned with European objectives.

Particular attention was paid to the issue of workplace safety: accident data was shared, highlighting both the progress made and the areas for improvement in which the Group will continue to invest with determination.

‘This meeting is a shining example of how social dialogue can be a key driver for the sustainable development of the company. The quality of the discussion and the clear sharing of data testify to the maturity of the relationship with the trade unions, which is essential for tackling future challenges together,’ commented Roberto Valente, Group Chief HR & HS Officer, on the sidelines of the meeting.

Continuous dialogue with social partners remains a fundamental pillar of our corporate strategy, which is geared towards creating shared value for all stakeholders.
