EarthDay2025: Building a Sustainable Steel Future
On this Earth Day, April 22, 2025, we stress once more our continuous commitment to climate action also through our partnership with the Global Steel Climate Council® (GSCC®).
As a GSCC member, we’re working closely with industry leaders worldwide to implement the scientific, technology-independent Steel Climate Standard, which is driving our sector’s approach to reduce CO2 emissions.
Our collaboration with GSCC represents more than just compliance. It demonstrates our ongoing commitment to transparency and continuous improvement towards mid and long term climate targets.
This approach proves that steel production can play a central role in the global decarbonization effort. Because for us, tackling climate change means setting clear targets and delivering tangible, measurable results.
