Summit of Top Italian Companies: Excellence in Comparison on the Challenges and Opportunities of Italian Industry

We were pleased to participate in the Top Italian Companies summit, organised by ItalyPost and L'Economia del Corriere della Sera, which brought together the best of Italian industry at Casa Marcegaglia to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the current context.

The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the strategic role of Italian companies, which are capable of maintaining their leadership even in a European context marked by uncertainty, market volatility and pressure on energy and raw material costs. In this scenario, resilience and adaptability have become key levers for continued growth.

During the panel discussion, our Vice President Barbara Beltrame Giacomello emphasised that: "In complex phases, it becomes crucial to have efficient processes. To succeed, you need to know all the markets in which you operate from the inside," also highlighting how the strength of our Group is the result of rigorous financial discipline and a long-term vision that has allowed us to continue investing even in the most difficult times, focusing on the ability to differentiate markets, on high value-added products and on knowing how to deal with regulatory transitions, such as the imminent entry into force of the CBAM, with determination.

A comparison with other top companies confirmed that the key to the future lies in creating a network, investing in skills and innovation, and actively contributing to the definition of industrial policies that support European competitiveness.
