The fascination of steel processing: from raw materials to final product
The transformation of steel from its raw materials to the final product is a fascinating process that combines science, engineering and a touch of industrial magic!
During the melting phase, temperatures exceed 1500°C, transforming ferrous scrap metal into an incandescent liquid that glows with an intense red/orange color.
When steel solidifies, we witness an equally spectacular phenomenon: the metal gradually cools, changing its crystalline structure and mechanical properties.
It is during this phase that steel acquires the strength and durability that make it a high-quality material for its many uses.
