Circular economy in our Swiss plant Stahl Gerlafingen
A great example of circular economy in our Swiss plant Stahl Gerlafingen.
A new hall to expand production is currently being built.Just in time for Easter, they are concreting 50 truckloads of Ruvido concrete.
Ruvido© is electric furnace slag processed into concrete in order to substitute gravel which is extremely sustainable.
Electric furnace slag is transformed on site, and is then installed as the main component for the concrete on site. In this way the finite raw material gravel can be conserved.
