La chiusura estiva dà il via alle manutenzioni
Summer shutdowns for scheduled maintenance in the last weeks in our Swiss company Stahl Gerlafingen.
Many works have been completed: water tanks installed; sinter plant revised; frequency converter installed and efficiency measures implemented; cooling towers revised; more than 1.000 m2 of squares and streets renewed with Ruvido, our recycled material; BLS level crossing renewed; electrical railroad switches installed; slag pit renewed (this needs about 1.5 meters thick Ruvido – concrete walls to withstand the heat and forces); various engines revised and many maintenance on our cranes.
