Romania’s Path to Industrial Transformation: A Vision for Sustainability and Growth

That’s the vision of Carlo Beltrame, Group Business Development Manager and CEO for France & Romania at AFV Beltrame Group, during the live Ziarul Financiar show “Cum Construim România”. “With over €400 million invested in Romania, including ESG-driven innovation and modern steel production, we’re not just building factories – we’re building a sustainable future”.

Carlo Beltrame’s message is clear: by reindustrializing, investing in infrastructure, and valuing strategic assets like scrap metal, Romania can bridge the economic gap with Western Europe in just 3–5 years. But this can only happen with bold policy, fair trade, and national commitment to local industry.
