Maintenance and plant improvement activities in Vicenza’s plant
Also in the Vicenza’s plant, during the summer break, we carried out many maintenance and plant improvement activities: the installation of a new EAF vault with its control valves for more timely handling, the complete overhaul of the de-sing tank bridge for water treatment, the placement of a new crossbar of the M10 finished goods warehouse crane with master-slave operation on the handling of beam measurements, the mounting physical protections with functional interlocks in laminated warehouse area for cutting cold beams, and finally the implementation of the automation of our ferro-alloys plant for an increasingly efficient and better organized production process.
