AFV Beltrame Group is growing! We are looking for our Group Sustainability team, based in Vicenza, for a:
ESG Intern
Following your manager’s guidelines, you will support projects in the areas of sustainability, decarbonisation, and non-financial reporting, with particular attention to the context of the steel industry.
Duties / Responsibilities
- What you will do:
- Support the collection, analysis, and monitoring of ESG data, contributing to the preparation of reports, dashboards, and benchmarking activities for internal and external stakeholders;
- Support the function manager in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of ESG reporting project activities, liaising with the various functions and ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met;
- Coordinate the collection and verification of the data required to prepare the sustainability report in accordance with the relevant international standards (e.g. GRI, ESRS/CSRD);
- Collaborate with company functions on the implementation of sustainability and decarbonisation projects and initiatives;
- Support carbon management activities, including the calculation of emissions (Scope 1, 2, and 3) in accordance with international standards (ISO 14064-1, GHG Protocol, etc.) and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) studies, contributing to the development of decarbonisation strategies;
- Monitor developments in ESG regulations and standards, contributing to the continuous improvement of company processes;
- Take part in stakeholder engagement activities and contribute to communication and awareness initiatives on sustainability topics.
- A 6-month internship with expense reimbursement;

What we offer:
Required qualifications
- What we are looking for:
- A degree (in progress or completed) in Energy / Environmental / Management Engineering, Economics, or related disciplines;
- Excellent command of the Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent knowledge of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) matters;
- Good knowledge of the principles of sustainability indicator reporting (e.g. GRI, ESRS);
- Good knowledge of carbon footprint, LCA (experience with SimaPro is a plus), and the main environmental standards;
- Fluent English;
- Interest in sustainability, energy, and decarbonisation topics;
- A motivation to learn and a willingness to deepen knowledge of the relevant regulatory requirements;
- A proactive approach, motivation, and an aptitude for working in a dynamic, multinational environment in the steel industry.
