To achieve their optimization maximum are the efforts and interventions in education, information and training of workers, plant and work environment evolution, constant improvement of the company’s Health and Safety Management system. All Group sites have a Health and Safety management system implemented and certified in compliance with the relevant international standard. The approach to safety fostered by the application of the system consistent with the indications of the ISO 45001 standard concerns the organization’s analysis of the context in which it operates, as well as the needs and expectations of its stakeholders, as “propaedeutic” requirements for the proper setting of the entire HMS (health and safety management system). The standard is clear in outlining the purpose of these new activities, the essential aim of which is to understand the most important issues in the context that may influence, positively or negatively (risks/opportunities), the way in which the company addresses its health and safety responsibilities. To this end, context analysis aims to provide the organization with a body of knowledge that it must use, at both strategic and operational levels, to guide its efforts in the implementation and continuous improvement of the HSMS. Like context, the points related to leadership and worker consultation and participation are also key aspects of ISO 45001, which are reflected in the participatory safety management in place in the Group.
