To cover a period of maternity leave, we are looking for our future Environmental Engineer on a fixed-term contract for a period of 6 months.
Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will play an operational, regulatory and hands-on role in implementing our environmental policy and our ISO 14001-certified management system.
Duties / Responsibilities
Your main challenges:
- Monitoring compliance with environmental regulations
- Carrying out audits and site visits
- Managing high-risk situations, incidents and environmental non-conformities
- Leading and monitoring corrective and preventive actions
- Ensuring waste management and traceability
- Monitoring self-monitoring checks and environmental performance
- Raising awareness and supporting teams on environmental issues
- Updating procedures, analyses and reports
Required qualifications
The profile we are looking for:
- 3 to 5 years’ higher education
- QHSE / Environment
- At least 1 year’s experience
- in similar roles within an industrial setting
- Good command of IT tools
- Meticulous, proactive and responsive
- Practical approach and excellent interpersonal skills
