The combined road-rail transport is currently used for all shipments to France, Germany and Northern Europe; however, towards Spain, we promote transports on ferries departing from Tyrrhenian ports.<br \/>\nMoreover, the rail inside our Vicenza plant allows to take advantage of every rail transport opportunity: we dispatch around 5,000 wagons per year. With a constant increase, compared to previous years, transfers of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products take place on Italian railways on Vicenza-San Didero routes (4 trains every week) and Vicenza -Gerlafingen ones (2 trains each month).<br \/>\nNevertheless, German railways carry our merchant bars to German customers equipped with their own railway station; always by rail, our products reach Scandinavia.<br \/>\nOur commitment and efforts in favour of the #environment passes from here too!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For many years now, where possible, our logistic department has been preferring to use #intermodalshipments: in this way, CO2 emissions are reduced by 55% compared to just by road freights.
