A greener #energy future: at AFV Beltrame’s Swiss plant, Stahl Gerlafingen, the construction of a photovoltaic system on the roof of the profile rolling mill and the push furnace of the Kombi rolling mill started at the beginning of February.
\nAs planned, after few months, the plant will be put into operation this week.
\nThe entire construction consists of around 5,000 panels, which are installed on 10,000 m2. with a capacity of 2,250 kWp.
\nStahl Gerlafingen expects an annual electricity production of approximately 2100 MWh\/year from the plant.
\nThe AFV Beltrame Group has set a goal to reduce its climate emissions by 40% by 2030 and to increase the use of green electricity. The ADEV solar system is an important step towards achieving this goal.
